GRADE IX to XII
At the Upper stage education (grades 9th to 12th) as per NEP-2020 RDS aims to provide a comprehensive and well-balanced curriculum that prepares students for higher education and the challenges of the modern world.
The focus is on promoting critical thinking, analytical skills, and in-depth subject knowledge. The upper stage education continues to follow a multidisciplinary approach, emphasizing the interconnectedness of knowledge. Practical and experiential learning is encouraged to foster a deeper understanding of concepts. Assessments shift towards competency-based evaluations, focusing on application-oriented learning rather than rote memorization. This stage also introduces career counseling and skill development, empowering students to make informed decisions about their future academic and professional paths.

The programme at River Dale is based upon strong academic roots. It emphasizes and relies upon what is best in traditional independent school education: scholarly excellence supported by a caring, pastoral and tutorial system, with a wide-ranging co-curricular programme.
